ELIZABETH LAKE, Los Angeles County — The LA County Library’s Antelope Valley West Bookmobile has a scheduled weekly stop in Elizabeth Lake, providing a local connection to the county library system.
The county timetable lists Tuesdays, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., at 14700 W. Elizabeth Lake Road. Residents can request library cards, borrow available books and other materials, receive reading recommendations and pick up holds made through the library catalog.
Digital library access is also available
Library cardholders can use ebooks, audiobooks, online research resources and homework help on compatible devices at home. The bookmobile is wheelchair accessible and can accommodate more than 2,500 titles. These are county resources, rather than private services offered by California58.
The county notes that stops are canceled on its holidays and may be interrupted for operational reasons. For information, call 661-948-8270 before making a special trip. The library also schedules a Lake Hughes stop on Tuesday mornings; the two locations should not be confused.
